My artwork focuses on seeing the beauty of everyday objects and illuminating them in different light. These “not-so-still lifes” imagine the secret life of objects when us humans are not looking.
Other inspiration comes from landmarks and objects of bygone days. I choose to use vivid color,
often layering the colors over each other to create a rich and velvety palette for my prints. I enjoy the craft of preparing the plates and the technical skill of printing and find it a fundamental part of the creative process.
